Florida Jets 2010 was held on March 4th through 7th at the Lakeland Linder Regional Airport in Lakeland Florida. The Georgia Jets Flying Club was represented by 7 pilots including, Craig Gottschang, Jed Jacobsen, Dee Miller, Boli Muentes, David Dewitt, Len McIntosh and Garey Bivins.

The 2010 Mississippi Afterburner Event was held April 29 - May 1 at the John Bell Williams Airport in Bolton, Mississippi. The Georgia Jets Flying Club was represented by 11 members including Rex Bryant, Bob Daniel, Gordon Dickens, Craig Gottschang, Neal Hagley, Doug Hallberg, Jim Little, Scott Mullins, Mike Pascoe, Joe Rafalowski and Pedro Sanchez.

The Georgia Jets Flying Club hosted the 2009 Super Jet South Event September 24-27 at the Georgia Jets Airfield. The event was a resounding success and everyone had a great time! The award winners were:

Jets Over Kentucky, July 5 - July 12, 2009

The Jets Over Kentucky Week fly in was held at the Lebanon-Springfield Airport from July 5th through the 12th. Georgia Jets members in attendance were Rusty Bardin, Rex Briant, Craig Gottschang, Jed Jacobson, Jim Little, Boli Muentes, Mike Pascoe, Joe Rafalowski and Pedro Snachez. The event was hosted by Lewis Patton and featured a 6000 X 100’ runway with a generous taxiway for pitting and start up. Good weather, good food and lots of flying made this a very successful and enjoyable event.

Mississippi Afterburner, April 30 - May 2, 2009

The 2009 Mississippi Afterburner event was held April 30 through May 2 at the John Bell Williams Airport in Raymond, Mississippi. This is a outstanding venue for a weekend of jet flying and the Mississippi gang rolled out the southern hospitality with plenty of great food as well. The Georgia Jets Flying Club was well represented by the following seven pilots: Rusty Bardin, Rex Briant, Gordon Dickens, Craig Gottschang, Jim Little, Mike Pascoe and Pedro Sanchez. The event was great fun with lots of flying for everyone!

Florida Jets 2009 was held on March 5th through 8th at the Lakeland Linder Regional Airport in Lakeland Florida. Perfect weather prevailed and allowed the 168 registered pilots to fly continuously throughout the event. The Georgia Jets Flying Club was represented by 15 pilots including, Rusty Bardin, Garey Bivins, John Bradley, Rex Briant, David Dewitt, Craig Gottschang, Jed Jacobsen, Norm Kendall, Jim Little, Len McIntosh, Dee Miller, Boli Muentes, Mike Pascoe, Joe Rafalowski and Keith Seivers. The event was regarded by all as one of the best FL Jets ever!
