The Pensacola Jets 2011 Event was held November 11 - 13 at NOLF Holly Field, Navarre, Florida. The Georgia Jets Flying Club was represented by Joe Rafalowski and Gordon Dickens. The weather was great and everybody had a blast!

Super Jet South, September 22 - 25, 2011

The Georgia Jets Flying Club hosted the 2011 Super Jet South Event September 22-25 at the Georgia Jets Airfield. The event was a resounding success and everyone had a great time! The award winners were:

Best Scale Performance - Larry Lewis (Cougar)
Best Electric Performance - Bob Fiorenze (F-14)
Best Sport Performance - Pablo Fernandez (multiple aircraft)
Best Military Performance - Lewis Patton (F-15)
Pilot's Choice - Boli Muentes (Tucano)
Best of Show - Jorge Escalona (Mig-29)
Top Gun - Johnathan Smith (Bobcat, Bandit, good-guy)

Mississippi Afterburner, April 28 - 30, 2011

The 2011 Mississippi Afterburner Event was held April 28 through April 30 at the John Bell Williams Airport in Bolton, Mississippi. The Georgia Jets Flying Club was represented by 6 members including Rusty Bardin, Rex Bryant, Gordon Dickens, Craig Gottschang, Jim Little and Mike Pascoe. Congratulations to Craig Gottschang who took home three awards!

Florida Jets, March 3 - 6, 2011

Florida Jets 2011 was held on March 3rd through 6th at the Lakeland Linder Regional Airport in Lakeland Florida. This was the first jet event at the new, grass runway, “Paradise Field”. The Georgia Jets Flying Club was represented by 6 pilots including, Craig Gottschang, Joe Rafalowski, Dee Miller, Boli Muentes, David Dewitt, and Len McIntosh.
